THE DECISION OF WWE TO LET RUSEV KEEP HIS TITLE AT FASTLAND WAS NOT A SURPRISE BUT MAKING RUSEV BEAT CLEAN CENA AND BECAUSE WWE CHOSE TO PRESENT RUSEV'S MATCHES LIKE A CONFRONTATION BETWEEN RUSSIA AND UNITED STATES OF AMERICA IT WAS NOT ONLY JOHN CENA WHO FADED OUT AND PASSED OUT IN RUSEV'S ACCOLADE AT FASTLAND BUT AMERICA. IN THE BUILDING UP OF WRESTLEMANIA THE WWE'S WRITERS THROUGH CENA'S CLEAN DEFEAT DIDN'T HESITATE TO DESECRATE THE STARS AND STRIPES AND MADE OF THE PATRIOT CENA THE ARTISAN OF THIS DESHONOUR. . THE FIGHT

As the bell sounded, Lawler referenced Cena showing "reckless abandon" (instead of ruthless aggression). Cena and Rusev circled the ring, then Cena struck Rusev in the face with a right hand. Cena slapped on a side headlock, but Rusev broke free, unleashing one of his greatest weapons : kicks for a first two count. Then Rusev pounded Cena into the corner. Cena's tough opponent quickly claimed his edge, utilizing his feet as an effective weapon the Russian goliath hoped would put Cena away early. Rusev then drove his opponent into the ringside barricade, sending a statement that he was looking to crush his prey for good. Cena tried to fight back with elbows to the face, but Rusev did not take kindly to Cena audibly calling spots, so he smashed him in the corner and applied a modified Cobra Clutch. Cena came to his feet to escape the hold as JBL covered for Cena calling spots by saying he was talking to himself, shaken by Rusev. ..

As the match grew more and more intense, every attempt by Cena to mount an offense was met head-on by Rusev's unrelenting force. In fact, in some instances during the bout, it seemed as if Cena may have very well lost a step, as his adversary claimed in the weeks leading to their showdown. Despite Rusev's crippling assault, however, Cena " true to his nature " refused to give in. Nevertheless, The Hero of the Russian Federation countered him at every turn, even stopping both an Attitude Adjustment and an STF attempt in their respective tracks.

	BUT, NO MATTER WHAT, CENA REFUSES TO GIVE IN.

Cena and Rusev came to a standing position trading blows. Then Cena made his standard comeback, did the You Can't See Me hand wave to Lana, and ran into a standing kick from Rusev for a close two count. Rusev followed with a monstrous swinging bodyslam, but only got a two count. Rusev yelled at ref Charles Robinson, then ran into a corner boot from Cena, who followed with a Tornado DDT for a two count.

Cena and Rusev came to a standing position trading blows, then Rusev tried another swinging slam, but Cena grabbed Rusev and forced him to the mat. Cena called another spot as he wrenched on the STF and Cole excitedly said Rusev is going to tap out. But, Rusev impressively powered out of the hold and smashed Cena with an Alabama Slam. Rusev covered for a two count, then sold a neck/shoulder injury following the STF.?

Finally, Cena's resilience paid off when he executed an incredible counter to lock his foe in the STF (a move that's defeated countless Superstars and champions over Cena's decorated career) only to see Rusev break the signature maneuver, twice! The U.S. Champion appeared to be unstoppable when the Russian Superstar kicked out of the Attitude Adjustment moments later. It seemed that no matter what Cena threw at the titleholder, Rusev could simply not be brought down.

			CENA COUNTERS LOCKING RUSEV INTO A STF.

	CENA TRIES THE STF, BUT EVEN THAT COMES UP SHORT WHEN RUSEV BREAKS IT.

Rusev sold a neck/shoulder injury following the STF. Rusev angrily targeting Cena's back before vowing to crush Cena. Rusev went for a big foot stomp, but Cena blocked and reapplied the STF. Cena again called a spot for Rusev to grab the ropes. Moments later, Rusev grabbed the bottom rope, taking the crowd down after thinking Cena was going to win. (It's mainly a pro-Cena/USA crowd tonight.)

	JUST WHEN IT LOOKS AS IF RUSEV IS SOFTENING UP HIS OPPONENT FOR THE ACCOLADE, CENA STOPS IT IN HIS TRACKS.

	CENA LOCKS IN THE STF AGAIN, BUT TOO CLOSE TO THE ROPES.

Rusev charged Cena, who tried to answer with an AA, but Rusev escaped. Cena tried again and this time he dropped Cena with the AA, but Rusev kicked out in time.

	CENA FINALLY HITS THE ATTITUDE ADJUSTMENT.

Cena got desperate went for a top-rope guillotine drop. But moving too slowly, acting like a rookie, Cena allowed Rusev to stood up and transformed the leg drop into a Batista Bomb and drop Cena to the mat. Rusev immediately slapped on The Accolade, popping the minority of anti-Cena fans. The pro-Cena fans tried to rally behind Cena, who teased breaking the hold. He tried again, but Rusev re-applied. On the third try, Cena powered to his feet.

	DESPERATE CENA ACTING LIKE A ROOKIE TRIES A VERY SLOW LEG DROP ALLOWING RUSEV TO TRANSFORM IT INTO A BATISTA BOMB AND TO LOCK IMMEDIATELY CENA INTO THE ACCOLADE.

	THE HERO OF THE RUSSIAN FEDERATION HOOKS IN THE ACCOLADE.

		THE TWO WRESTLERS ENTER INTO A PHENOMENAL STRENGTH CHALLENGE.

	AFTER THREE ATTEMPS CENA SUCCEEDS TO GET UP ON HIS FEET...

... But a no stamina left Cena is unable to counter Rusev's attack. Suddenly, Lana entered the ring with the U.S. Title belt. With the ref. distracted by Lana, Rusev kicked Cena in the balls then stuns Cena with his usual kick to the head and hooked again into the Accolade a groggy Cena. Rusev locked in the hold and leaned back as Cena passed out. The fight is over. Ref Robinson was forced to call for the bell. RUSEV WINNER via submission!

Post-match, Rusev exhaled and celebrated his victory as Lana proudly presented her champion. Manifesting the Stars and and Stripes's defeat, The Russian flag dropped from the ceiling, then Rusev posed over a fallen Cena. Medical staff hit the ring to check on Cena as Rusev and Lana made their way to the stage to continue celebrating. Rusev's music eventually played as Cena came to life and tried to make it out of the ring.

Cena looked physically and mentally beat down as WWE medical staff tended to him following the bout. WWE succeeded to destroy the 15-time World Champion's legacy. With WrestleMania just weeks away, will Cena be able to get back on track and make an impact in Silicon Valley?
