JOHN CENA VS BATISTA

After an intense clash between two of WWE's preeminent powerhouses on The Grandest Stage of Them All, Cena finally unleashed all manner of fury on The Animal, captured his seventh WWE Title and can once again proclaim, "The Champ is here!"

Batista came out first, and there were fans in the front row with "We Hate Cena" shirts. The Air Force Armored Guard Drill Team was on the stage, and did a display, flipping rifles with bayonets on them. This was followed by Cena making his entrance and he ran to the ring. Mixed reaction for Cena, mostly boos for Batista.

Batista and Cena circled at the bell, and when they locked up, Batista grabbed a headlock. Batista hit a shoulderblock, then Cena jumped up and grabbed an armbar, then switched to a side headlock.

Cena hit a barrage of punches in a corner, but Batista responded by reversing a whip into the corner and hitting Cena with a clothesline to the back of the head.

BACK AND FORTH.

Batista put Cena in a corner and pounded him down, then hit a kick to the head. Batista got on the floor and pulled Cena's neck over the apron. Batista hit an elbow, then kicked Cena in the head.
Back in the ring, Batista went for a vertical suplex, but Cena reversed it and hit his own. Cena hit a bulldog for a two count.

Cena went for an Attitude Adjustment, but Batista countered into a DDT for a two count.  Batista hit a running kick to a downed Cena for another two count.
Then Batista applied a sleeper with a body scissors. Cena got to his feet, carrying Batista on his back. Cena pulled out of the hold, but Batista kneed him in the back.

Cena and Batista traded punches, then Batista kicked Cena in the gut and hit a neckbreaker for a two count.

ONE!...

TWO!...
Batista put Cena in a front facelock, but Cena broke out and kicked a charging Batista. Batista missed another charge, and Cena hit a pair of shoulderblocks and a back suplex into a powerbomb.

Cena did the "You Can't See Me" and went for the Five Knuckle Shuffle, but Batista jumped up and hit a spinebuster.

Cena went for the Five Knuckle Shuffle, but Batista jumped up and hit a spinebuster.

Batista called for the Batista Bomb, but Cena tripped him and put him in an STF. Batista made the ropes to force the break.

Batista got to his feet, and immediately charged Cena with a spear for a two count.
BATISTA SPEARS CENA FOR THE PIN.
ONE!...

TWO!...

Batista hit some shoulderblocks in the corner, then put Cena on the top rope. They ended up in a test of strength on the ropes, and Cena hit some headbutts taking the advantage.
Cena knocked Batista to the mat, and Cena did the "You Can't See Me" and then delivered a top rope fistdrop.

STRENGTH CHALLENGE!

CAN BATISTA RETAIN THE WWE CHAMPIONSHIP AND PROVE HIS POINT.

CENA PULLS OUT AT THE TOPS AGAINST HIS NEMESIS.
Cena went for the Attitude Adjustment, but Batista grabbed the ropes.

Cena pulled Batista back, but lost the handle on his move.Batista landed on his feet and hit Cena with a Batista Bomb.
Cena got a shoulder up at two. Batista couldn't believe it, and said "Are you kidding me?" to the referee.

ONE!...

TWO!...

Batista went for a Batista Bomb, but Cena floated out and went for an Attitude Adjustment. Batista countered into a slam, then Cena countered back again in a amazing demonstration of force and hit an Attitude Adjustment, pretty much flinging Batista through the air with it. Batista kicked out at two.
CENA DISPLAYS HIS IMPRESSIVE STRENGTH, READY TO SLAM BATISTA.
ONE!...

TWO!...

Cena went to the top rope and went for the top rope Rocker Dropper, but Batista caught it and gave Cena a spinebuster.

Batista went for a Batista Bomb, but Cena floated over into a sunset flip and hooked an STF. Batista reached for the ropes, but quickly faded and limply tapped out at the fourteen minute mark.

BATISTA TAPS HIS SUBMISSION.

The crowd erupts in Arizona.

After the match, John Cena is handed the WWE Championship and he holds it up in celebration.

THE CROWD OF 72,000 GOES WILD FOR CENA.

Cena walks down the steel steps and poses with his title next to the "WE HATE CENA" people. Cena gives a big smile. Cena gives one last pose at the end of the ramp.

THE CONFRONTATION

JOHN CENA ~ BATISTA~ SWAGGER

THE FIGHT

A surprise Cena 's partner RANDY ORTON
Swagger and Cena start things off with the champ hitting a suplex. Orton gets the tag, stomping away at Swagger. Orton drops a knee, and looks to finish off Swagger. The All-American American rolls out of the ring, and we go to commercial.

After the break, Swagger has Cena in a waist lock. The champ breaks the hold, only to get a back suplex. Swagger splashes Cena off the middle turnbuckle. Batista tags in, whipping Cena across the ring and follows with a spinebuster.

Cena counters the Batista Bomb with a back drop. Orton calls for the tag, and gets it. Orton unloads on Swagger with a scoop slam and then a back breaker. Batista breaks the pinfall and then spears Cena.

Orton hits Batista with a RKO and then hands Swagger one as well. Orton covers and gets the three count.

After the match, Orton and Cena size each other up. The champ leaves Orton to pose in the ring.

In his so-called "State of the World Heavyweight Championship Address," Swagger took the opportunity to verbally jab WWE Champion John Cena, who responded by challenging the chest-beating braggart to a match. Not content flying under the radar, both Randy Orton and The Miz each demanded that they fight Swagger.
Instead, Raw's special guest host, NXT Rookie David Otunga, silenced the raucous row. Otunga, who landed the prime hosting gig by winning an Eight-Man Battle Royal, arranged two matches for later in the evening: Swagger will take on Randy Orton and Unified Tag Team Champions Big Show & Miz will defend their titles against The Champ and his partner Batista!

WWE CHAMPION JOHN CENA HAS HEARD ENOUGH OF SWAGGER'S TALK.

For the sake of teamwork, John Cena & Batista appeared to try putting animosities behind them. Unfortunately, bad feelings from the last few months came crashing to the fore. In their title match against Unified Tag Team Champions Big Show & The Miz, the WWE Champion and The Animal simply weren't content to let bygones be bygones. Instead, Batista left up the ramp, where his partner chased him down and began pummeling him, prompting the tag team bout to end in a Count-out.
TAG TEAM CHAMPIONS BIG SHOW ~THE MIZ ARE READY FOR A FIGHT.
WWE CHAMPION JOHN CENA WILL BE TEAMING WITH HIS RIVAL, BATISTA.
THE ANIMAL WILL HAVE TO WORK WITH CENA IF HE WANS TO WIN THE TITLES.
THE WORLD LARGESR ATHLETE USES HEAVY HANDS TO WEAR DOWN THE CHAMP.

CENA ISN'T GOING TO STAND FOR BATISTA TRYING TO STRAND HIM.
UNFORTUNATELY. GOING AFTER HIS TEAMMATE GOT THE CHAMP COUNTED OUT.

SHOW~MIZ HAS SUCCESSFULLY DEFENDED THE TITLES AGAINST CENA~BATISTA.
OTUNGA DOESN'T LIKE HOW THAT ENDED AND WILL TEAM WITH CENA LATER.

COULD THE NXT ROOKIE&CENA BECOME THE UNIFIED TG TEAM CHAMPIONS?

Special guest host David Otunga didn't just burn a bridge tonight, he incinerated it. Having teamed himself with WWE Champion John Cena in a title match against Unified Tag Team Champions Big Show & The Miz, the NXT Rookie turned his back on The Champ. The brazen betrayal allowed Batista to enter the fray and attack Cena mercilessly.
WWE CHAMPION JOHN CENA WILL NOW TEAM WITH NXT ROOKIE DAVID OTUNGA.

OTUNGA COULD BE ONE-HALF OF THE UNITED TAG TEAM CHAMPIONS TONIGHT.
THE MIZ HAS THE WWE CHAMPION IN A VERY VULNERABLE POSITION

AFTER SOMETHING LIKE THIS, CENA DESESPERATELY NEEDS TO MAKE THE TAG.
WITH A SLY SMILE, THE ROOKIE BACKS AWAY FROM CENA'S TAG.
WITH THAT BETRAYAL, SHOW-MIZ DEFENDS THEIR TITLES FOR THE SECOND TIME TONIGHT.
AFTER CENA IS INCAPACITATED, OTUNGA GIVES THE FLOOR TO BATISTA.
BEFORE SAYING WHAT HE HAS TO SAY, THE ANIMAL DECIMATES THE CHAMP.
AT EXTREME RULES, BATISTA IS INVOKING HIS REMATCH CLAUSE...
...IN A LAST STANDING MATCH.

DARK MATCH

After last night's RAW went off the air, guest host David Otunga came back to the ring while John Cena was still laid out. Otunga said Batista didn't have to wait until Extreme Rules to get his rematch against Cena, he could have it now.
Batista went for a quick pin but CENA hit the five knuckle shuffle, connected with a powerful Attitude Adjustment, and made Batista tapping out to his STF after only a minute into the match, which the crowd popped big for.
Cena then called Otunga back to the ring and made him paying for his betrayal, locking him with the STF, making him tap out to end the night.

Main Event - Cena vs Sheamus for WWE Title.
Good match. Cena got the biggest pop of the night and Sheamus got the most heat. Usual 10 minutes beatdown of Cena by a physically dominating strong Sheamus, then the usual recovery, shoulder block, Reverse back Buster, "You can't see me", the 5 knuckle shuffle... (which caused a few "same old s***" chants), Cena locks in the STF, but Sheamus makes the ropes. Sheamus gets the upper hand for a few more minutes, hitting his big kick, but Cena kicked out. Sheamus then went for the Razor's Edge, but Cena escaped and hit the Attitude Adjustment out of nowhere for the win and a big pop.

GLASGOW 04/9

JOHN CENA VS SHEAMUS

. Main Event. Sheamus vs John Cena for the WWE Championship. Please welcome your special ringside enforcer, Bret The Hitman Hart. Major pop. Sheamus comes out to the heat of the night. Cena comes out to the pop of the night. Fairly even tussle all the way. Bret stays out of the way. Attitude Adjustment tease. Sheamus escaped. STF with Sheamus reaching the ropes. Sheamus then gets in a Scissor Kick and a close three count. Sheamus berates the refs then he clocks him with a big right hand. This now leaves the ring clear for Bret to enter. Cena hits Sheamus with the Attitude Adjustment whislt Bret was entering. Cena with the cover. Bret with the one, two and three. Cena and Bret stand in the ring and celebrating.

John Cena defeated Sheamus with the Attitud Adjustment. Cena got the whole crowd going mad. Sheamus got a good crowd reaction. Good match with a lot of back and forth...

John Cena defeated Sheamus and Batista to retain the WWE Championship (submission).

Excellent main event. Sheamus attacked Cena before the match started, and then dominated most of the match before Cena turned the tables toward the end. He threw Sheamus into the steel steps which caused a huge bang and cheer from the crowd. Cena then hit a double 5 Knuckle Shuffle on both Sheamus and Batista when they were down. He done a 2 handed 'You Can't See Me', and danced instead of brushing his shoulder. Good pop for this. He hit the Attitude Adjustment/FU on Batista who rolled out of the way, then Cena locked the STF on Sheamus who tapped out in around 20-25 seconds. Match lasted 30 minutes or so, Cena celebrated then left.

RAW 2010/04/12 ENGLAND, LONDON

JOHN CENA DEMOLISHES THE ROKIE OTUNGA.
WWW CHAMPION JOHN CENA FIRED UP FOR RAW
IN LONDON
WWE NXT ROOKIE DAID OTUNGA WILL FACE CENA, WITH BATISTA LOOKING ON.
OTUNGA MAY BE UP AGAINST HIS TOUGHEST CHALLENGE TO DATE.
CENA GAINS SOME RETRIBUTION FOR OTUNGA CROSSING HIM LAST WEEK.
IT'S ALL OVER FOR OTUNGA TONIGHT.

But John Cena has not finished yet. To close monday RAW he climbs through the ropes and locks in the STF on the animal who is finally forced to relent and tap out.
