United States Champion The Miz def. John Cena by Disqualification
The Miz wanted to take his revenge on Cena who despised him at SummerSlam and called him "petty and classless"... and nearly succeeded DOMINATING CENA MOST OF THE MATCH! ...UNTIL...
Unfortunately for Miz, Daniel Bryan appeared on the scene and was more than happy to "escort" him back to the ring. After tossing the U.S. Champion back inside, where Cena administered an Attitude Adjustment, Daniel Bryan locked a submission hold onto his nemesis. So intense was the hold that it required five referees to finally break it.

JOHN CENA HOPES TO HUMBLE THE COCKY U.S.CHAMP ON RAW.

|
The two square off in the ring and you can feel the tension rising. Miz starts off with a strong punch to the face, and then lays Cena out on the mat. Miz stays strong on the attack as he whips Cena hard into the turnbuckle.

|
MIZ WENT AFTER CENA WITH PUNCHES, KICKS AND IRISH WHIP.

WHAAOUU! WHAT A START!

BACK AND FORTH!
John Cena springs to his feet and connects with a huge side slam on Miz. Cover attempt, but Miz kicks out.

|
|
|
Miz is set up in the turnbuckle and Cena charges after. Cena misses, and flies shoulder first into the steel post. The Miz lift up Cena and follows with a back suplex. He tries for a cover, but Cena kicks out.

| THE MIZ RETAKES THE LEAD! |

Cena throws Miz in the ropes but Miz reacts kicking Cena in the belly. Cena is on all fours as Miz bounces off the ropes and kicks him hard again in the gut. Miz follows up with a nice leg drop and goes for the cover. Cena kicks out.

Once more back and forth. Miz with kicks and punches and Cena with a running bulldog. Cena set up for the top rope rocker dropper but Miz crotched him.
Cena falls down into the floor outside the ring.

We come back as the Miz has Cena in a headlock.  John powers out and makes it back to his feet. Cena escapes and tries for a running bulldog, but Miz counters and Cena flies forward catching nothing but air...
|
|
|
|
|
...Miz takes advantage of the moment by kicking Cena square in the head punt style. Cena is now laying with his head under the apron as Miz sets up for a slingshot. The move connects and Cena hits the bottom rope neck first. Cover attempt, Cena kicks out.

MIZ WITH PUNCHES AND BIG KNEE INTO CENA FACE

Miz snapped Cena's neck into the ropes and clotheslined him into the corner.

FOR A WHILE, THE MIZ WORKS OUT A CENA HE OWNS.

A groggy Cena gets up in the corner. Miz runs wildly across and connects with his patented splash. Another cover, but again Cena kicks out. Cena is once again in a corner, but this time he dodges a splash attempt.
|
|
|

ONE!... TWO!...

|
|
|

|
|
|
|
|
Cena is the first to his feet and hits two consecutive flying shoulder tackles. A side slam later, and it is time for "You Can't See Me". Five Knuckle Shuffle connects, and Miz is out cold.
|
|
|
|
|
|
Cena came back with shoulder blocks, the Cena slam  and the five knuckle. However,
Miz escaped the FU attempt and hit a back breaker/neck breaker combination for two.
|

STARING UP AT THE ARENA LIGHTS,
THE MIZ CAN'T SEE CENA!

IT'S TIME FOR THE FIVE KNUCKLE SHUFFLE.

|
|

|
Miz kicks out of the cover and then connects with his backbreaker, neck snap combination from The Miz sends Cena down to the mat. He goes for the cover, but Cena kicks out. Miz is looking for the kill and he attempts to lock up Cena for the Skull Crushing Finale. John counters into the STF! The Miz is moments away from tapping, but he reaches the ropes!

Miz went for the skull crushing finale but Cena got out and caught Miz in the STF. Miz struggled to get to the ropes.

CENA LOCKS IN THE STF TO PUNISH THE DEVIOUS U.S. CHAMPION.

The Miz surprises Cena with a big boot to the face and tries again cover on Cena, but fails. Miz sends Cena front first into the turnbuckle, and again tries for the Skull Crushing Finale. Cena counters and is looking for a clothesline. Miz wisely slips out of the ring to avoid the move.

At that point Daniel Bryan attacked Miz on the floor and threw him back into the ring.

WHEN THE MIZ TRIES TO ESCAPE CENA, DANIEL BRYAN AMBUSHES HIM FROM BEHIND, CAUSING CENA TO LOSE BY DQ!

Cena hit the FU but the referee called for the DQ. Cena seemed fine with this and Bryan came in and applied the omoplata/crossface on Miz. Miz tapped.

AFTER BEEING DISQUALIFIED, CENA GETS THE LAST WORD WITH AN ATTITUDE ADJUSTMENT.
