John Cena def. The Miz

Before the contest was underway, The Miz needed to get something off his chest. The Miz claimed that no one has worked harder than he has, but yet he is upset because he does not have a match at WrestleMania. The Miz was fully prepared to prove he was ready for WrestleMania by defeating the same Superstar he defeated at The Show of Shows last year.
... Momentum swings were fairly even in the contest, but Cena's offensive continually proved to be much more effective. Following an Attitude Adjustment, Cena locked Miz in the STF for the victory.

The Miz walks out with a mic in hand onto the entrance ramp. Miz says that he worked too hard to be treated like this. In the past year, no one has worked harder than The Miz. He is asked to fly all over the world to do PR for the company, and yet The Miz’s name has yet to be called upon for WrestleMania. Miz yells at the crowd to shut up. Miz says they can boo all they want, but it’s a crime. Miz says he is going to prove to everyone that he is WrestleMania worthy. Miz says he is going to do it by beating the man that he beat in the main event of last year’s ‘mania. Because he’s The Miz, and he’s awesome!

Miz stomps Cena. Catching Cena's head in his hands he pick up Cena, hits series of knee on his guts then hits a running knee. Cena is laying down on the mat. Cover, but Cena kicks out.

...Miz leaps, but Cena moves out of the way. Cena connects wiht a shoulder block, followed by a side slam, building his momentum. Cena preps for the 5 Knuckle Shuffle. It connects! Cena lifts Miz into the air and hits the AA! Instead of the cover, Cena locks on the STFU. Miz taps! it's over.

The Rock addressed the WWE Universe

The Rock had many choice words for John Cena and whenever he hurled an insult at his WrestleMania opponent, the Portland crowd would chant in unison. The Great One explained to John Cena that he was fighting for the people and that he lived to entertain the people. ...John Cena made his way to the ring to counter The Rock's insults and fire back his own. When Cena left, The Rock said it didn't matter what Cena said, at WrestleMania, both Superstars would put everything on the line.

...The Rock said that he senses fear and doubt in Cena's words. If Cena loses, the Rock continued, it will negate all off Cena's many accomplishments in WWE, a point that the Cenation leader conceded.
However, it was Cena eventually scored the last word in this battle, telling The Rock "who by that point had returned to the locker room area " that if he believes Cena's lost his confidence, then The Rock has lost his mind.

John Cena dissed The Rock with a scathing rap
"The Doctor of Thuganomics" returned for one night only to rock the mic for the sold-out Cleveland crowd. Sporting an old-school Mark Price Cleveland Cavaliers jersey and his trademark padlock on a chain, Cena took shots at The Great One right off the bat, comparing him to LeBron James and dubbing him "G.I. Joke." Cena pulled no punches as he broke down The Rock, rhyme by rhyme, before closing with a bold prediction for their WrestleMania XXVIII match.

John Cena def. Mark Henry.

Mark Henry showed no mercy against John Cena, battering the leader of Cenation inside and out of the ring. Cena, however, would not be overpowered, even as he fought The World's Strongest Man just hours after being involved in
a car accident earlier Monday. Cena kicked out of pin attempt following a World's Strongest Slam and bounced back to defeat Henry with a monster Attitude Adjustment.

After the match, the one-upmanship between Cena and The Rock continued as The Great One came out to lay out Henry with a Rock Bottom. The two rivals engaged in a piercing staredown before Cena turned his eyed to the WrestleMania XXVIII logo hanging above the Wells Fargo Center.

They lock up, and Henry tosses Cena out of the ring. Cena reenters and bounces off the ropes. Henry flattens him with a shoulder block. As Cena gets to his feet, Henry knocks him right back down to the mat with punch after punch. Henry throws Cena out of the ring once again, and then chucks him into the barricade.

After the match,

Rock's music hit to bring out Rock live. Rock paced the stage and played to the crowd. Rock then stormed the ring, grabbed Henry, and delivered Rock Bottom center-ring. Rock popped up to his feet and stood a few feet away from Cena, who sold a combination of exhaustion from the Henry match and shock. Rock pounded his chest and quickly left the ring as his music played ... They came back live to Cena, who pointed to the WM28 logo as his music played.
